My first time building a CSM kit, they are outstanding! Great detail and the instructions are extremely detailed as well. I will most defiantly build another on their kits of WW1 planes
Starting with the cockpit parts, getting them cleaned up to paint and assemble.
Making some progress. Finished oil painting all the plastic parts that represent wood and letting them dry before clear coating and starting more weathering detail.
One cockpit side is complete except for some touchup paining and weathering. Took me several tries to get the bracing wire to where it looked correctly. I tried the brass tubing method but it just does not look authentic. I made coil springs from 0/01 wire which looks far more realistic to me. Will keep refine this technique.
